Thurs, May 4: Queen City Theatre Company joins Campus Pride in raising money for LGBTQ youth with opening night of “THE PRIDE”

Help support Campus Pride by purchasing tickets to the critically acclaimed show “THE PRIDE” for opening night, May 4 at 8:00pm

Part of the production’s proceeds will go toward Campus Pride on opening night only.

Winner of the 2010 Olivier Award for Best New Play, THE PRIDE by Alexi Kaye Campbell, is a groundbreaking play that alternates between 1958 and 2008, featuring three individuals in parallel times, both, past and present, living similar yet radically different lives. Past and present worlds grind together and melt apart, yet the future and its promise of sexual liberation remain ever elusive. An exploration of intimacy, identity, and the courage it takes to be who you really are, the show asks questions about contemporary life (gay and straight) but doesn’t presume to answer any of them concretely.

The critics are saying:

“An illuminating, moving night of theatre.” – Time out London

“A tremendously rich and uplifting new work.” – Time out New York
