Join Campus Pride at the Equality March in Washington, DC and at the epicenter of HB2 in Charlotte, NC

Campus Pride is proud to announce that we will be participating nationally in the Equality March in Washington, DC and locally in the Equality March in Charlotte, NC. The Equality March for Unity and Pride is a global movement that will culminate in Washington, D.C. as well as many other cities across the United States.  Campus Pride will support and participate in both the national march and the Equality March in Charlotte, NC- the epicenter of HB2.

The Equality March- Charlotte, along with their National and Sister marches, to give voice to our concerns, and to support, uplift, and bring attention to those in our communities who are targeted due to immigration status, ethnicity, religion, skin color, gender, sexual orientation, age and disability.

Join us for the march in Washington, DC as well as through uptown Charlotte.

March Details:  In DC, all marchers are encouraged to email info@campuspride.org for details and to be added to our text messaging alerts.  In Charlotte, all marchers should meet at First Ward Park just before noon. When the march begins, we will head down Brevard St. towards Spectrum Center, take 5th St. to Caldwell St. then go down E 3rd St. to Marshall Park where special speakers will make an appearance. 

Time: 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm

Marchers must stay on the sidewalks and obey traffic and pedestrian signals while also being mindful of other pedestrian traffic. If you have questions or would like to volunteer please email: equalitymarchcharlotte@gmail.com.
