Support LGBTQ+ Youth Scholarships for Camp Pride

This past summer, Camp Pride returned in person! The summer leadership academy is the oldest and longest-running program of its kind, designed for LGBTQ+ student leaders and allies seeking activist training and resources to make their campuses safer and more inclusive.

At Camp Pride, student leaders developed action plans for activism on their campuses, heard from inspiring leaders such as activist Reverend Doctor Jamie Washington and  Doctor Jon Paul Higgins, a Writer, Educator, and Co-Host of “Black Fat Femme Podcast,” and ended the week with a student talent show hosted by Eureka O’Hara – star of RuPaul’s Drag Race and HBO’s We’re Here!

Last year’s donations allowed us to provide scholarships and travel stipends for students who would not otherwise have been able to attend. This year, for Giving Tuesday, we are once again asking for your help to support LGBTQ+ students with Camp Pride scholarships.

Camp Pride provides student leaders with the tools to organize and create a more LGBTQ-inclusive environment at their campuses. On this Giving Tuesday, we aim to raise funds to provide student leaders with scholarships to attend Camp Pride. Your donation will provide much-needed assistance to LGBTQ+ students who wish to attend Camp Pride so they can become future leaders on campus and in their communities.
