Celebrating Campus Pride Month :: Sharing student stories with #CampusPrideMonth

It’s April – which means it’s officially Campus Pride Month!

Every April, LGBTQ+ and allied student leaders celebrate Campus Pride Month by organizing for LGBTQ+ visibility and equality on their campuses – and here at Campus Pride, we love to celebrate their incredible work.

This April, we want to share YOUR stories and see the inspiring ways you are celebrating Campus Pride Month on your campus. Share with us on TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter by tagging us and using the hashtag #CampusPrideMonth.

As we lift up student organizing this month, we will also be highlighting campus events and actions that support youth leadership, activism, and advocacy, like our Safe Space and Stop the Hate Trainings, nationally recognized tools for preventing and stopping hate on campus, and building a safe and inclusive community, which we’re holding throughout the month. Learn more.

Check out these featured #CampusPrideMonth activities happening at campuses like Penn State University:

  • Wednesday, April 5: Drag Bingo
  • Wednesday, April 12: Pride March and Rally
  • Thursday, April 13: “Lunch and Learn with Kevin Naff,”  author of “How We Won the War for LGBTQ Equality: And How Our Enemies Could Take It All Away.”
  • Friday, April 14: Penn State’s annual Lavender Graduation

We can’t wait to see the inspiring ways student leaders are organizing for LGBTQ+ equality & visibility on your campuses all month.

Happy Campus Pride Month!
