“As a national LGBTQ youth organization, Campus Pride strives to build future leaders and supply resources, programs, and services to support these LGBTQ and ally students from high school to college – and to the workplace,” said Shane Windmeyer, Executive Director of Campus Pride. “The job board and job fairs are one example of building future leaders and transitioning these young adults from college into the workplace.”

CampusPride.jobs will directly connect young adults from college with employers of LGBTQ-Friendly and inclusive careers. The goal is to make the job search easier and more accessible. The job board is in partnership with DirectEmployers Association, a nonprofit consortium of global employers. Campus Pride will also host free webinars for LGBTQ and ally career-seeking young adults to provide techniques, leadership development tools, and job opportunities for their career search.

“The job board and fairs are a great way for our corporate partners to recruit and build relationships with our LGBTQ leaders. It is important that LGBTQ youth know which workplaces are leading the way for LGBTQ people, and in particularly transgender people,” Windmeyer said.

The Campus Pride LGBTQ-Friendly Job Fair will take place on Saturday, October 8 from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Atlanta, Georgia in conjunction with the Atlanta Pride Festival. Job seekers can RSVP online for free and employers can register for a table online.
