FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITY TO SUPPORT LGBTQ+ AWARENESS, TRAININGS & LEADERSHIP

Campus Pride has partnered with The College Poster Sale Company to provide support for LGBTQ+ college students across the country. For over 40 years, The College Poster Sale Company has been conducting on campus “Back to School” poster sales at many colleges and universities across the country. The company is committed to a diverse cultural experience to create inclusive, welcoming campus communities. As the largest manufacturer and publisher of posters in the United States, The College Poster Sale Company prides itself with the ability to offer students the largest, the most diverse selection, and the most economically affordable back to school poster sale event in the country.

HOW TO FUNDRAISE & SUPPORT LGBTQ+ EFFORTS

IT’s EASY & SIMPLE TO DO ….

Host an event for The College Poster Sale Company on your campus.

– Determine a date that works for you

– Reserve a high traffic location on campus (indoors or outdoors).

– Arrange for 15-20 tables for set up of posters.

– Share advertising to let people know.

– Parking pass and/or loading and unloading information as necessary.

That’s it really.. you can be involved as little or as much as you want during the event. The Poster Sale Company takes care of everything else.

FUNDRAISING BENEFITS FOR YOUR CAMPUS

Fifteen percent (10%) of profits support LGBTQ+ awareness, training and leadership through Campus Pride. The money you raise goes toward the following:

– You can send students to Camp Pride Leadership Academy and invest in building LGBTQ+ leaders on campus.
– You can host a Safe Space training on your campus (or virtually) to create visibility and more inclusive, welcoming spaces for LGBTQ+ communities.
– You can fund Social Justice work with mini-grants to your student leaders for projects, initiative and their ideas.
– You can register for the Campus Pride Index assessment tool to measure and improve your campus LGBTQ+ inclusion policies, programs and practices.

IN ADDITION, The Poster Sale Company will donate an additional 10% of profits to Campus Pride for LGBTQ+ work to support colleges and universities across the country.
