Fulbright Teacher Exchange Opportunities

Hello!

Fulbright Teacher Exchanges are programs of the U.S. Department of State, funded by the U.S. Congress. These fully funded professional learning programs provide opportunities for elementary and secondary educators, in the U.S. and around the world, to share educational practices and bring global skills and perspectives to their school communities. Each year we send nearly 150 educators from across the United States to participate in programs that take them abroad for two weeks to six months. Programs are open to people regardless of their race, color, national origin, sex, age, religion, geographic location, socioeconomic status, disability, sexual orientation, or gender identity and accepted applicants have a wide range of teaching experience in public, private (secular or faith-based), or charter schools.

If you are a K-12 educator looking to develop your global education skills or interested in conducting research abroad, applications are now open for the Fulbright Teachers for Global Classrooms Program and Fulbright Distinguished Awards in Teaching Research Program. Deadlines for applying are March 24th and March 7th, respectively. Please feel free to send your questions to FulbrightTGC@irex.org or FulbrightDA@irex.org.
