I very much enjoyed and appreciated the story about Shane's friendship and civil conversations with Dan Cathy. Our society is starving for such action! I am working within the Boy Scouts to foster exactly that kind of discourse.

I’m definitely most proud of the LGBT Peer Mentorship Program that I have implemented on my campus. It feels really good to know that I can follow through on a goal that will ultimately help my peers.
