2014-02_Recognize-Cover-Final-1Recognize: The Voices of Bisexual Men an anthology of short fiction, creative nonfiction, critical essays, visual art and more coming from the voices of over 60 cisgender and transgender bisexual, pansexual, polysexual and fluid men from across the world.

Campus Pride is incredibly proud to support the work of Robyn Ochs, bisexual educator, author and activist. Robyn Ochs is currently on the Campus Pride Speakers Bureau and is accepting bookings; email info@campuspride.org and visit Robyn’s speakers page.

“I’m very proud of this project,” said Ochs. “Working with co-editor H. Sharif Williams (Dr. Herukhuti), we successfully assembled a broad and intersectional group of men who share their powerful stories. The men in the book range in age from 20-77, are racially and geographically diverse, include trans, cisgender and genderqueer men and represent a wide range of experience and perspective. This was our goal, and we achieved it.”

The Bisexual Resource Center continues working hard to provide important access to learning and understanding bisexuality and providing progressive resources for diverse sexualities and gender identities. The BRC fights for the marginalized bisexual and middle sexuality communities through resources and publications such as Recognize.

“At some point or another, we’ve all probably heard someone opine that bisexuality doesn’t exist and that it especially doesn’t exist in bisexual men. Through personal narratives, poetry, short fiction, creative nonfiction, critical essays, photography and artwork, RECOGNIZE lets bi men speak for themselves and provide clear evidence that bi men most certainly do exist and that they represent a broad range of experience and perspective.”
