Through this informational panel discussion, we will discuss with leading experts the current landscape for transgender and gender non-conforming students in PK-12 and Higher Education. With the Obama administration’s directive to affirm students’ gender identity and several states pushing back against this policy, transgender students and their advocates are left to decipher what legal protections currently exist.
This webinar for PK-12 faculty staff and higher education professionals, seeks to improve the understanding of what trans/gender non-conforming students’ rights are currently and what schools/campuses can do to clear up the confusion and provide support to all of their students.
