Description: How do you create a campus that is LGBTQ-friendly? How do you change policies to be inclusive of LGBT issues? What best practices and events are happening at colleges and universities across the country? Hang out with LGBTQ college student leaders and hear firsthand what they are doing during Campus Pride Month as well as throughout the year to create positive LGBTQ change. Identify how you can best achieve success in your campus organizing, how to use your student voice to create action and how to overcome any barriers along the way. Campus Pride will also share free valuable resources online to help with your campus organizing.

We will highlight our resources including the Campus Pride Index and Campus Pride Map, and the Trans Policy Clearinghouse which help identify activity around LGBT issues and inclusion on college campuses. Additionally, there will be information shared about Camp Pride Leadership Academy, the premier intensive training  for LGBTQ and ally college students to gain valuable social justice and activism skills.
