CP_CollegeFair_ImgThe Campus Pride National LGBT-friendly College Fair Program is the only one of its kind, specifically designed for addressing the concerns of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) and ally students when it comes to academics, student life and campus safety. The college fair program works in tandem with the Campus Pride Index ( which provides the only national online listing of LGBT-Friendly colleges and universities.

In light of the University of North Carolina (UNC) Board of Governors recent ban on gender-inclusive housing for the entire UNC system, it has become more important for local LGBT students to find colleges and universities that will best fit their needs. Campus Pride’s National College Fair Program highlights nearly two dozen regional and national LGBT-Friendly colleges and universities while also providing resources for a better college experience.  Some of the colleges participating include:  Davidson College, Elon University, Kennesaw State University, Newberry College, Queens University of Charlotte, and Warren Wilson College.

Following the Southeast Region College Fair, Campus Pride will continue up the east coast then to the west coast with college fairs. Visit Campus Pride’s full list of college fairs online at (
