Peter Mandeau is currently the President of PMEP Talent where he represents a diverse group of LGBT entertainers and speakers and produces various LGBT events. He served as national top-20 Harvard University’s Associate Head Men’s Tennis Coach for nine years of a distinguished 30 year tennis career.
Peter had been “out” to family and friends for a number of years prior to Havard, it was while working there he fully came out “by mistake.” From that experience, he has developed an inspiring story for both students and coaches alike about his story which was recently featured on OutSports.com.
Having spoken to groups large and small for over 25 years, Peter brings the state of homophobia in both collegiate professional sports into the spotlight. During his appearances, he speaks on his personal experiences, those of his athletes, fellow coaches and administrators with relation to this topic. The forum is presented as a combination of those experiences with thought-provoking group discussions on how gay athletes and coaches interact with their teams and administrators. The discussions also focus on the responsibilities each has as leaders of their student bodies and their communities.
