The Campus Pride Queer It Up Action Institute will occur at Creating Change on Thursday, January 24, 2013. Young adult leaders from colleges and universities across the country will learn valuable strategies for empowering their voices and being advocates for social justice on campus. This Daylong Institute explores the skills and resources necessary for successful leadership, coalition building and tackling issues within your college campus or your local community. Valuable information will also be shared from Campus Pride’s 2010 State of Higher Education for LGBT People and LGBT-friendly Campus Climate Index.
