Campus Pride’s Creating Change Vlog: Day Four

Saturday was another great day at Creating Change 2013! The day included workshop sessions, a plenary on immigration reform featuring Jose Antonio Vargas, caucuses, and a MasQueerAde Ball for youth and young adults. During the College Student Caucus, students gathered to have small group discussions on the issues facing their campuses. Meanwhile, the Pennsylvania Student Equality Coalition hosted a National LGBTQ Youth Roundtable to discuss the possibility of a national youth-led LGBTQ movement.

One Campus Pride student, Yerson, shares his thoughts on the day in the vlog below.

Campus Pride is the leading national organization for student leaders and campus groups working to create a safer college environment for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer students. Creating Change is an annual conference organized by the National Gay & Lesbian Task Force, bringing together LGBTQ leaders from around the world. Special thanks goes to the Alliance for Full Acceptance, whose grant allowed us to bring several students from the South to the conference.
