What has been the most rewarding part of your experience with Campus Pride?
The most rewarding part of my experience with Campus Pride was the opportunity to have a forum where I could share ideas not only with other student leaders on my campus but also other student leaders.
How has what you’ve learned with Campus Pride benefited you personally?
When I was at Campus Pride, I learned a lot about forming my personal identity and that was really valuable to my own development.
How have the skills or knowledge you’ve gained through your Campus Pride experienced assisted you in creating change on your campus or in you community?
Thanks to all the great ideas and resources from other campers, I had a really successful experience with helping to build our student group’s membership this year.
What accomplishment — personally or at your student club, community organization, on your campus or elsewhere — makes you most proud? Why?
I am really proud of the work that our student group has done this year to increase our visibility and numbers among the student body.
What would be your advice to another student looking toward creating change on their campus or in their community?
Don’t rule out anyone on your campus as a potential resource for you! Networking with other groups or individuals on your campus creates relationships that can be very mutually beneficial, even if they may not seem like the most logical connection.
